Giving Tuesday is a rather new American charitable tradition. This annual giving event is a time for Americans to contribute to social missions they believe will make the most impact. It's a time to combat the hollow consumerism that dominates the Christmas holidays.

This year, the Terri Schiavo Life & Hope Network is participating in #GivingTuesday for the third time. We're aiming to raise $5,000 by November 28th at midnight. And every dollar contributed will be matched by a generous benefactor, doubling the impact of your gift.

This is an incredible opportunity to support our life-affirming mission of service to the medically vulnerable across the country. I know from my own family's fight for Terri just how precious every cent is in the battle to save a life.
